Q: What is Altared Youth?

Q: What happens at Altared Youth?
A: Designed to be a safe place for you to come and enjoy the very best worship services and time to hang out with your friends - and meet some new ones - Altared features video games, billiards tables, ping pong, basketball courts, a full service cafe, sand volleyball courts, and a great place to hang out.

Q: What time does Altared start?
A: Altared begins and ends every Wednesday night. Doors open at 6:00 PM and service time is 7:00 - 8:30 PM, afterwards the gameroom, courts and facilities are open until 9:30 PM.

Q: Can I show up late or leave early?
A: If you want to come, we want you to be here. But, we have a few guidelines that help us take good care of our large number of guests each week. Each Wednesday, our services start at 7:00pm, so we ask that you show up by 7:30pm or you will miss too much. We also ask that you do not plan on leaving until service ends at 8:30pm. If you can not stay for service then Altared isn't for you.

Q: How old is "too old" and how young is "too young?"
A: Altared is a place created specifically for teenagers, so you need to be a teenager. If you are not yet 13, or in 7th grade, sorry you'll have to wait. But don't worry; we're not going anywhere, and we are only gonna get better. So relax, we will see you soon! If you're 19, or out of High School, the time has come for us to part ways. Unless, of course, you are a member of Faith Assembly Church and you want to help us serve teenagers each week. If that's the case please see the youth pastor and he'll point you in the right direction.

Q: Do I need to bring money?
A: The only thing that costs money at Altared is the food. All of the video games, billiards tables, ping pong and everything else is free. So if your stomach talking to you, bring a little bit of money so you can talk back. Otherwise, relax it's on the house.

Q: How do I get to Altared Youth?
A: We are located just 2.2 miles North of Highway 290.

If you're coming from the Highway 290 north of the Beltway, then take a left on Fairbanks N. Houston Rd.The church will be on the left 2 miles down.

If you're coming from the Highway 290 south of Fairbanks, then take a right on Fairbanks N. Houston Rd.The church will be on the left 2 miles down.

If you're coming from the Beltway near 249. Then exit onto the BEltway and exit the Fairbanks exit. Take a left on Fairbanks N. Houston Rd. The church will be on the leright about 1.5 miles. click for map

Q: Can parents come?
A: We have designed Altared to be a place specifically for teenagers, but we want parents to feel welcome to see what their kids are enjoying. We have created an open door policy for parents and you may see some of them wandering around from time to time. So, you had better be on your best behavior just in case the next ones you see are yours!
